Gold Drop chain earrings
By Mother Daughter Jewelry
Mother Daughter Jewelry was created in 2003 by Richmond artist Heather Tanton after she and her mother began stringing beads together for fun. Living in Brooklyn, NY for six years, she studied different jewelry making methods and developed a distinctive style, known for elaborate chain draping and silver oxidization. Inspired by the style and jewelry collections of her mother Cindy and her grandmother Viola, Heather strives to make creations which blend aspects of traditional and contemporary design, such as wire wrap, metal work and wax carvings. Especially influenced by jewelry from the Art Deco period, Heather is particularly interested in the relationship between dark and light, and varying chain textures.
