Richmond artist Chris Milk began his art career as a house painter, assembling pieces of found wood and other materials into paintings and relief sculptures. Completely self taught, Milk's works have an unpolished poignancy and are sincerely charming. "Pigeon" consists of layers of wood-cutouts with a gold leafed background, and hangs on the wall.
"Pigeon" measures approximately 1.5 inches by 11.25 inches by 13.5 inches.
Materials: wood, water and oil based paints, gold leaf
